Infrared Coagulation (IRC)
Infrared coagulation (IRC) is a quick, effective, in-office treatment that uses focused infrared light to shrink hemorrhoidal tissue. It's ideal for small to medium internal hemorrhoids and offers fast relief with minimal discomfort.
The procedure may require multiple treatments to resolve the hemorrhoid. We recommend beginning hemorrhoid treatment with IRC or HemWell™, as banding is more invasive and often less comfortable.
