Why did you choose to become a physician assistant?
My journey into healthcare was driven by an interest in medicine and a passion for making a tangible difference in patients’ lives. I enjoy being part of the NYGA team, and working as a PA allows me to focus on patient care while maintaining a balanced and fulfilling life.
What are your areas of interest and expertise within Gastroenterology?
My interest in gastroenterology stems from its complexity and the opportunity it offers to address a wide variety of health issues. Specializing in this field has allowed me to delve into the diagnostics and treatments of various gastrointestinal disorders. In particular, I derive great satisfaction from easing patients’ pain and helping manage chronic conditions.
What do you and your family enjoy doing during your spare time?
In our spare time, my husband and I enjoy staying active, cooking, hiking, and traveling. I also enjoy playing tennis, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.
